About Me
Hi! My name is Angel and I'm greek. I just turned 18 this April and finished high school. I'm about to start university and study philology and linguistics.
I love nature, languages, poetry, drawing, philosophy, museums, parks, pizza and coffee. But above all, I love meeting new people and getting to experience other cultures. Travelling is so fascinating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly I'm broke BUT I'm not here only because of that. Couchsurfing is maybe the best way to meet and get to know locals. When I travel, I don't just want to see nice buildings and eat at nice restaurants. I want to go to flea markets and thrift shops and small concerts and little coffee shops that actually have the best coffee and I want to live. Travelling isn't just about going to a new place. It's about experiencing that place.

Music, Movies, and Books
▪️Fav Books; Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz and All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr
▪️Fav Movies; Cloud Atlas and Inception
▪️Fav Series; Dark, Sense8
▪️Music; I listen to twenty one pilots a lot and sufjan stevens. My music taste is a mess and depends on my mood. I generally like rock, pop punk, indie, alternative and electronic music. But sometimes I also listen to classical and traditional music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo travelling in Europe for one month!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you my language and how to make some basic greek dishes! We could also talk about art, history, philosophy, astronomy, nature, climate change, poetry, writing, sports, mythology etc. Basically, about everything. After all, I'm only 18 and I'd love to learn more about the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my mediocre cooking skills and also I'd love some language exchange. You always wanted to learn greek/ancient greek or basic mandarin/latin? Here's your chance!
