I'm a relaxed person that likes to learn and I am quite adaptable. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am a student at UC Berkeley studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I am currently completing my Bachelor's Degree, but I am hoping to study for my Master's Degree in Germany. I am also a competitive fighting game player, but my studies have come first so I have pushed it aside for the most part.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently in a Study Abroad program and living in Sweden. I want to explore Europe and meet new people as this is my first time here. I really like learning about new cultures and, after I graduate, I hope to explore more countries by hopefully living there for longer periods of time than a typical vacation. Languages take time to learn, but I am hoping to travel specifically to learn more languages over time.

I used to be a Physics tutor and I am quite passionate about the subject. I am capable of helping out with lower division Physics courses. My actual major, however, is more focused on Computer Science and I have a greater range in what I can help with there, particularly with programming. I am also a bit analytical when it comes to languages, but I have often been more of an autodidact so I may not be familiar with all the terminology of a linguist.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with anything I mentioned above, but I can also help with any languages I know. I used to tutor a high school student with Spanish and have often found myself in both informal and formal tutoring positions.

I have explored many of my interests from painting, guitar, piano, video games, karate, snowboarding, paintball, etc. So I often find a common interest with the people I meet.

I also took a course in magic, so I can show you a trick or two if you have a deck of cards. I'd need to warm up first though..
