About Me
I'm a math&science guy living in a world of arts & culture!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used couchsurfing while I was traveling around Europe last year and find it really useful to empathy with others and not just doing regular tourism. I met brilliant people and every one of them were really kind and friendly, I guess that encouraged my faith in human beings a little bit.
I'm currently living in digs so I can't host anyone but I'd be pleased to share time with any new visitor in town. I believe is a really good way to improve life skills!
Interests
Arts: Books, music, films & theatre. I'm not a solid expert in any of these but know a bit of each and always keen to learn a bit more!
Sports: I like practicing pretty much any sport, but kind of more into running / swimming / cycling / climbing at the moment.
Discovering the joy of being surrounded by nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've grown up in the 90s and engaged with grunge bands. Although having been working in an auditorium increased my love and admiration for classical, jazz and blues. There's music for each moment in life, and if we all have a soundtrack of our lives I bet my "greatest hits" would be pretty amazing xD
"The sorrows of young Werther" is my favorite book, but I could say "The catcher in the rye" is pretty important to me as well, so I guess I like books I could see myself in.
About films I would say I'm in the "I like Woody Allen" side.
However, my favorite film is a weird one (weird for being a "favorite") it's called "Reality bites" and It meant a lot to me when I first watched it so I believe it depends on the time and situation that you are in to get the feeling for a film. "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind" and "Big Fish" would be with it in the podium though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First TV series I followed strongly (with friends coming over my place and sharing wine and pizza/kebab) was "Lost". Being a Sci-Fi/philosophic type of program I loved it, but mostly because my friends and I lived every episode so fiercely that it was a very enjoyable every time a new episode came out. So for the final episode, we went to this cinema in Madrid where they projected the final 2hours-episode in streaming with America, but before that they were showing the most relevant episodes from 1am, so we brought some red bulls and stayed up all night watching the series! That was freaky, I know..
Teach, Learn, Share
In 2015, after many years working in several audiovisual jobs (I was one of the lucky ones in my country..) I decided to give up everything and leave not only my hometown where I'd always lived, but my country. Could have had a lot of reasons for doing it, but I could sum all of them up in one main reason: I was feeling miserable. So I gave away most of my stuff, bought a small van and put some clothes, books, music and memories in it, and I left my family and friends looking for a new life.
A year later, I could say I feel the luckiest person alive. I've got a job that I love, living in one of the most beautiful places in earth. You might think I've been lucky and that does not always happen to everyone and you'll be right BUT, what is obvious is that it won't happen to you if you don't try.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could offer loads of conversation about adventures, life, films, music.. Always happy to talk and learn from your experiences. Much better if it's sharing food and/or drinks! :)
