I'm a single mom with 4 kids. I am a Realtor who enjoys acting, writing and visual art. So basically I enjoy creating whenever I get the chance to. I also love to travel.

I filled this in initially through my phone and thought I wrote so much. Now I've opened it up on my computer and I see how cheap I was with my words.

There is a lot for anyone to write in this section about themselves. People are fascinating. I've lived quite a bit and yet still believe in the best of people. I think anyone on this website must. I love Real Estate. My ideal adventure is to explore ruins or abandoned houses. It's fun showing people's houses as well and getting to see a variety of lived in homes. It's probably what I like most about my job though there isn't much variety in the little city I live and work in.

When I travel, I usually do it alone.This couch surfing sounds like it would make the world less lonely. I might be a bit old for it? I don't really know. I have never done it. I don't think we ever get too old to be interesting or to have interest in other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought it sounds like a nice way to get to visit a place while getting to know some great people.

Any music... Mostly. Radiohead, Cohead and Cambria, Nat King Cole, Erasure, New Order, Vivaldi, Michael Jackson, Lauryn Hill, NIN, Violent Femmes, Sia, Gorillaz, Muse, Depeche Mode, R.E.M., Peter Gabriel, White Stripes, Ed Sheeran, Jars of Clay, Count Basie, John Denver, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Billy Talent, some country music that I don't know the names to, Some classical music that I don't know the names to, some rap music that .... you get the idea. My distant cousin is the drummer to "The Guess Who" but I've never met him. I like their music.
There's some great independent films that I just love but you may not have heard of them. One did end up on Netflix though. "Wrist cutters, a Love Story" was brilliant. I saw it at a film festival years ago, now it's on Netflix. "Road to Saddle River" is also a favorite. I was in two that are not my favorite yet I am still proud of them. One is a musical that I did not sing in called "Year After Year" and it's just making the circuits, the other is called Tumaini...and I think it's done trying to get anywhere. I often get cast as an alcoholic mother though I rarely drink in real life. Authors I have enjoyed are:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a month long trail ride on a horse with my dad when I was a kid through the Alexander Mackenzie Grease Trail (look it up :) ) . We ran out of everything but flour half way through but survived off the land... And bannock.
Many years later, my dad died in Mexico. So our last adventure was me going to Mexico alone, knowing poquito Español and taking care of his body. Staying with strangers who didn't speak English who became friends who spoke a little more English and helped me speak more Spanish.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach... Hmmm... It's hard to think of something but I'd be willing to do my best to teach anything I know. Maybe art would be best... Or I'm good at acting. I don't know if I could teach either one but I'd try. I used to tutor ESL students.
I love learning, so I'd be happy to learn anything.
I'd share more stories of my life if someone wanted to hear.

I could teach my mom's recipe for Caesar Salad. It was the very first thing she taught me how to make from scratch. She would be happy to have it shared. I'll buy the ingredients.

I've also been taking many self improvement courses and would love to teach what I learn. Maybe try hypnosis again though I'm not proficient in it.

I am new to this. What is usually shared? I would share the beginnings of two books I'd begun to write about 15 years ago and had put on hold. I recently found them and I think they are worth continuing.
