I'm your typical Californian who's studying abroad in Spain for the year! I'm quite the extrovert and love meeting/having conversations with strangers (like you)! There are also a few staple characteristics that everyone associates with me: I love singing and musical theatre as a whole, I'm vegan, and I love exercising and just staying healthy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Studying abroad and traveling at the same time is expensive. Being able to go outside of my comfort zone and meet new people sounds better to me than spending way too much money on a place that I'll be spending such little time in just to sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books

Show tunes and anything Broadway-related is my music of choice, like Waitress or She Loves Me. But being that it's not everyone's cup of tea, I also love oldies like the Beach Boys and Ella Fitzgerald, more Indie/Alternative vibes such as Rex Orange County and Summer Salt, and a little bit of jazz every now and then.

Not a huge movie person, but White Chicks is hands-down my favorite movie.

Wish I could say that I read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played Heather Chandler in Heathers: The Musical. May seem like a small or insignificant feat to some, but it sure was one of my most favorite experiences in my life.

Oh, but studying abroad and living in Spain for 9 months is pretty swell, too.
