ABOUT ME

I've been studying philosophy and french litterature for a long time, and now I'm trying to "teach" it to the "young generations" as well as I can. I turned 30 this year and I've realized that I've been, maybe, a little too serious untill now (giving myself completely to studies, work, or to different artistic activities...), so : letting myself live, and going out A LOT more (including of course : out of my country). Today I think a perfect day should always include a lot of laughs, a good talk with interesting people, one moment of complicity with total strangers, at least one new idea or project or dream, and if possible one powerfull sensitive experience (basically : art or love :-)
ps : one thing about me is also that I'm probably the only person in the world who actually LIKES parisians in the morning in the subway (!). Worth saying it ;-) Yes, they CAN smile if you make them.

PHILOSOPHY

"Before you diagnose yourself with depression or low self-esteem, first make sure that you are not, in fact, just surrounded by assholes" (William Gibson) This made me laugh. Seriously, I studied philosophy long enough not to have one, it varies all the time and you never stop constructing what you think and what you are, from your experiences and from the people you talk with - the real travel is to see the world through somebody else's eyes, it's also what art is all about and it's why I love it :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate about learning and I think I'll be interested in nearly everything you can teach me : language, art, history, science, politics... but what will interest me the most is probably just your life experiences...
My special skills and knowledge :
- studies : french litterature, philosophy
- practiced theater for about 15 years ; I love acting but I'm even more interested in creating and directing a play - same things for movies
- dance : rock'n roll and tango but I am a beginner !
- I also know SOME awesome recipes (but if you come to my place, you'll see that the best cook is my roommate, she'll show you :-)
