ABOUT ME

I am from Melbourne Australia and currently residing in Vancouver, Canada. I love traveling, going to the movies, trying new places to eat/drink/play, exploring the great outdoors, running as well as chilling out. I would say I'm an easy-going, laid back person with a good sense of humour who is able to see the funny side to any given situation. I love meeting new people and exploring new destinations as I truly believe the journey to get there is just half the experience in itself!

PHILOSOPHY

While I don't know what I want to do in my life career-wise, the things that I know I want I simply go out and do it!

My philosophy is to try and go with the flow of things. So often we are or feel we are controlled by the situation or circumstances we find ourselves in but I'm learning that there's always a reason for it and a choice to change things. Since traveling I've become a lot more open minded, trusting, adaptable and confident in meeting new people, places & situations. I certainly believe life is an educational journey and not one to watch and pass you by..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been very fortunate to have met so many amazing people who have been so gracious in hosting me as if I was a friend and not a complete stranger. It's not often you get a chance to meet new and different people and couchsurfing gives you that opportunity to do so! It's always comforting to know you have someone who is happy to help you whether it is simply to provide you with company and/or somewhere to stay for a night or two. I hope to host surfers myself so I can give back as my appreciation to those who have done so for me in the past and present.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had so many positive Couch surfing experiences of which I would highly recommend to anyone who is a little unsure or hesitant to try... Like with life you never know until you try something once :-) While it might seem scary to begin with, once you start you don't want to stop! There's too many amazing and generous people out there around the world who you would otherwise never get a chance to know.

I really enjoy going to movies & concerts, trying out new places to drink, eat, shop, exploring the great outdoors, trying new things and meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most memorable experiences I will never forget is living abroad for the first time in the UK a few years ago and traveling to many places in Europe and worldwide meeting awesome people and lifelong friends.

The second is getting to do it all again starting in Vancouver, Canada to embark on some more new and exciting adventures/experiences!!
