I am a 27 years old guy native from spain. I consider myself a normal person, polite, friendly and without prejudices. In some cases I am a bit shy at the begining, but I may become too talkative when I get some confidence haha.

I grew up in the south-center of spain, in the city of Albacete, but with 18 I moved due to my studies and never have come back to live there (just on some vacations). I moved to Asturias 5 years ago, and nowadays I'm still living here, in the coastal city of Gijón where I'm a study a PhD.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people and having new experiences. The last 6 months I have been living in UK (Nottingham). There I discovered couchsurfing thanks to my friend Miss Diaz :) and I had my first experience as a surfer in the city of York in UK. Since then, I've been looking forward to join the couchsurfing community.

Now that I am back in Spain, I want to participate not only as a surfer but also as a host, trying to offer a good experience to my guests.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love sci-fi and fantasy movies, books and series. Among my favourite films are Big Fish, X-Men, Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings. Regarding books, I would highlight Brave New World, fahrenheit 451, The Picture of Dorian Gray and Dracula. I also love series as Doctor Who, Fringe, and some animes (Bleach, Death Note, Naruto ...).

In terms of music, I like a bit of both national (Marea, Extremoduro, Sinkope, Narco, La Raiz ...) and international (Metallica, Mumford and sons, Bob Marley, Imagine Dragons, Beatles, ACDC, System of a Down, Ramstein... ).
