Born teacher. Avid reader. LOVE animals. I like snakes! They are NOT slimy!

PHILOSOPHY

All the religions in the world are but different streams and rivers, flowing into the same big ocean. Whichever path you take will expose you to different experiences, scenery, trials and tribulations, but in the end, the goal is the same. I believe in life-long learning, and strive to develop that philosophy in all my students. I also believe that learning to think well, is the start to being more aware, and living a more fruitful life.

Read/watch documentaries, CSI, Sci-fi, comedies, fantasy; go to the gym once a week, learn new skills and knowledge, travel a lot. Love to rollerblade. Taught myself how to create websites.

All sci-fi and fantasy, plus mysteries and romance. A good trashy novel is priceless!
Love all music except Trance music.
I read Times and Newsweek for my work, plus the daily news...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done a somersault dísmount plus a 'catch' on a flying trapeez
Did black water rafting in NZ (had to abseil in darkness 6 floors and climb up 2 waterfalls to get out!)
Performed in 5 operas

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people to think critically, to appreciate different points of view, and to evaluate the validity of information. I also teach them to care for others, that everyone has a place and a role to play, from the cleaner to the prime minister, and we must respect everyone. This world is ours, and we are its caretakers. We should take good care of it.
