I grew up on a ranch in El Dorado California, and went to college in Los Angeles, California. I have a BS in Veterinary Science, and have started my Master's in Public Education.
I am a very laid back person that just wants to get out there and see the world as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travelled around Europe after an internship Teaching English Immersion in Austria and Italy during my Master's Program. I gained so much from that experience and am now looking to give back to the Couchsurfing community. I have a couch for (preferably female) guests to explore the Lexington Kentucky area.

I'm all about building community, so if you are thinking of ever visiting California, then let me know and I can put in a good word for you with Cali's that I know.

I plan on touring New Orleans, Orlando, Washington D.C., Nashville, and New York sometime in the next few months. And Germany, Romania, and Switzerland next year.

I love books! Sci-fi is my first love but I read almost everything.

I love animals and nature and have spent many a vacation back-packing, camping, and horse riding.

I love chocolate! I am trying as many new candies and pastries in Europe as possible while I'm there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone dog-sledding across glaciers, Horse riding in the Yukon, Shark Diving in Monterey Bay, Dolphin swimming in San Francisco, Sky-diving in Elk Valley, I can't pick which one was best.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a great deal of knowledge, and host them in Lexington, Kentucky.

I can clean and help around your home if ever you request it (or more often even when you don't).

I can cook some amazing steamed salmon and feta-cream rice. I also know a pretty good vegetarian lasagna recipe.

I can make a host smile at my inability to not start dancing n public at the first sound of music. I also otherwise have a gift for physical comedy too.
