Hey everyone, I'm Angela! I currently live in Portland, Oregon, where I work at a college helping and supporting students in this important time in their life. I am very passionate about education and helping others learn about themselves and grow in their experiences.

I love to travel because it pushes the boundaries of everything that I know about myself and the society and context around me, constantly encouraging me to discover new things about myself and about the communities in which I live. I think the human experience is incredibly interesting and I hope to learn as much as I can from this lifetime.

I am somewhat of a foodie in the sense that I think dining experiences are a chance to connect with others over food that nourishes both the body and the soul. I am always down to grab food, whether that's from a local market or at a fine-dining restaurant!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. Hanging out, exchanging travel stories, and exploring the "hidden gems" related to food/beer/coffee are my favorite things to do with new people!
