I take care of primarily mentally handicapped adults with medical needs. I come from a huge family (one of 7 kids) as does my bf of 2 years.
He has worked at a local plant here in Oklahoma for 3 years.

We live in a small town in Oklahoma and there might not be a ton to do without driving a good 45 min but we live a happy charmed life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My bf and I are young (26, me, 23, him) are thinking of doing some travelling and possibly hosting-if anyone would even want to travel to the Oklahoma boonies- lol. I heard about couchsurfing and thought it sounded like a wonderful opportunity.

Interests

Besides the medical field I enjoy playing guitar/piano.

Writing poetry and songs.

Going out for a night on the town and living life to the fullest or even staying home and binge watching a good show on Netflix.

Also, Tyler loves drawing, collecting exotic swords/knives, and playing video games.

We both are foodies and love exploring new types of food and flavors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love fantasy books, sci-fi movies and TV shows.

I'm a bit of a movie, TV buff when and if I have time.

Music on the other hand I don't listen to much besides whatever is on the radio so I generally know all the mainstream songs.

My bf on the other hand loves 80's rock, and other classical rock and pop. He hates most mainstream pop, rap, and country. Lol

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I used to work in dialysis I saved a man's life by performing CPR until the EMT's got there. I wouldn't call that amazing tho, it was something anyone wouldve/should've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a very basic knowledge of spanish from what I remember from school and know enough sign language to sign in letters if I don't know words.

Even though I play guitar and piano I am not a master and learn more all the time.

And Tyler is too humble to admit it but he is an amazing artist. I've watched him muster up all kinds of drawings out of nothing but his imagination and he really has a knack for anime and comic type of drawings.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I do end up hosting we always have a spare room with heat/air, a bed, fridge, a place to eat/cook, and even WiFi.

It might not be the most luxurious house or location but it suits us just fine.
