I am recently getting back to travelling after raising my family and getting myself a university degree. I haven't done "life" in a conventional way but I am having a wonderful time living :)
I spent time travelling on sailboats and hitchhiking around the world before raising my family. I have 3 children all still living at home and a studio at the bottom of the garden. My Mum and Dad live in a cottage on the property, so we are a bit of a commune :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in an alternative way of travelling. My early experiences of meeting locals in countries I travelled through gave me the most amazing experiences and a belief in humanity. I'm looking to continue that journey now by giving back and hopefully making some new friends in the process.
