I didn't travel much as a child, so I'm trying to make up for it these days every chance I get. Moving from a small city in Florida to Los Angeles has taught me that there's something to love about every city, big or small.

I'm currently a graduate student studying in Los Angeles. I love it here, but am always on the lookout for the next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to get to a know a new place is to get to know the people who live there. I'm still new at this, but looking forward to being a part of the Couchsurfing community before long.

Interests

I'm interested in the road less traveled and other basic cliches.

Just kidding, I'm just really bad at filling out my interests. I'm interested in what other people are passionate about, and why they are passionate about them. I've also been birdwatching once and LOVED it.

Music: Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, and other Russian Classical Romantics; The Weekend, Amine, 6LACK, and some others; Slow Magic, Odesza, Shawn Wasabi... my music tastes are a diverse collection of different influences and periods in my life! There's little that I actively dislike--music is hard to mess up, but even harder to do well.

TV Shows: Orphan Black, The Americans, Sherlock, Westworld, Stranger Things, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty, Archer, etc.

Books (in no order): A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again, The Night Circus, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, The Little Prince (especially this one), Frankenstein, Hamlet, The Alchemist.
