About Me

I'm a couch potato, curator and rambler. I love food, tv shows, films, art, books, new experiences, and stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I currently caught the traveling bug and I'm embarrassed it has taken this long. I'm looking to expand the sphere of people I interact with. I'm also hungry for new experiences and I think it's impossible to do all of these without people who are different and have had diverse and interesting experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

The films I love are endless! A few of my favorites are Short Term 12, The Debt, The Light Between Oceans, The Prestige, Still Alice, Keeping Room, Ida, In the mood for love..

A little life is the best book I have read this year, I think everyone should read it, but be prepared to be eviscerated. I wept for days!

Ah, music! My music library is full of soul, songs that make me feel grateful for life and music itself. It must sound good and take me to a good place I didn't know existed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saving up and buying a camera when I was unemployed. It was a worthwhile experience, figuring out Photography on my own. I went on long walks capturing life, experiences and portraits in my city. I don't know if this is amazing but I'm glad I did so.‪
Joining couch surfing too, lol. I think it allows for meaningful interactions and fusion of different cultures and experiences which is commendable. I signed up last year but I hope to make the best of it now that I have caught the traveling bug.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you why The Wire is excellent tv.. I'm open to learning anything new. It would be great to learn to fish, use a corkscrew (I know how to use one now) also ride a bicycle ( I can ride a bicycle now, wow this profile is really old)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Post cards from home, wine obvs, + good conversations.
