I could be shy at first, but I am very friendly and talkative once the ice is broken.

I love to meet people from other countries and hear about their lives, trips and what they have learned.

When I visit a city I love just walking through its streets and explore non-touristic places.
I am open-minded and a lover of cultures and arts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is beautiful that travellers help each other and I believe that staying with a local gives the visit of a city a different and unique experience.
When I will have my own place I will give back what I received during my trips and be a nice host!

Interests

I want to learn how to play the piano and I can play some guitar and ukulele.
I like to practice some martial arts like qi gong and tai chi, also some yoga and acroyoga.
I am into photography and videos and I would like to shot some good frames of my trips :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all type of music if its good, my absolute favourite band are Florence and the Machine, then I love indie folk band such as Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, Angus & Julia Stone, Bon Iver... Also I love other artists like Sigur Ròs, Foals, Kings of Leon, Grimes, Haim, Tame Impala, Chet Faker, Jose Gonzalez, Tycho, Múm, Gramatik, Daughter, the XX, the Kills, Alt-J, Arcade Fire, Chvrches, Kasabian, Dardust, La Rappresentante di Lista, Levante, Tash Sultana and so many many more. I just love music from classical to electronic and I am all about going to live concerts. I can also recommend good italian indie music to listen to :)

I also love Cinema, I am an expert on Woody Allen filmography hahaha and Tim Burton. I love indipendent films and italian directors such as Paolo Sorrentino, Paolo Virzì...
Some of my favorite films are Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Paper man, Funny Face, Big Fish, This must Be the Place, Midnight in Paris, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Her, ...
I am also into TV series my favourites of all time ar Buffy, Friends, Girls, Grey's
Anatomy, Orange is the new Black and too many more ;D
Books are another major part of my life, I collect them and buy from second hand markets. I read classic novels and books about travels and living in contact with nature. One of my favorite writers is Tiziano Terzani, his Story for me is really inspiring. I also like to read graphic novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Six days trekking on the Appennines Mountains on a path called "La via degli Dei" (Path of the Gods), a 120 kilometres trail from Bologna to Firenze.
It was my first time trekking and it was hard and painful but great and unique!

Two months volunteering in Zagreb promoting sustanable living.

Road trip to Andalusia: 1885 km and 6 towns.

I traveled for 52 days to Croatia, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Latvia with my backpack and my ukulele to visit, meet friends and to volunteer in a yoga centre during summer 2017.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to live and travel as sustainable as I can, respecting the environment and consuming and buying less new things/objects/clothes as possible and of course recycling. Our planet is in bad shape and we all need to work together to save it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with Italian and English.
Play Guitar or Ukulele and sing together.
