我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For years, I've dreamed about studying abroad. What better than combining my studies with my travels, right? After an extensive application process, I was accepted into a year long study abroad program through my university in Aix-en-Provence, France. My roommates and I have finally fully settled into our apartment conveniently located in the heart of the city and since our couch doubles as a pull-out bed, we came up with the idea to get involved with Couchsurfing to meet some fellow globetrotters.

TRAVEL! Don't we all?! There are few things I enjoy more than spur-of-the-moment voyages with a few soul sistas (or brothas). Throw in a solid playlist and I'm the happiest of campers. Furthermore, I've found that I get my best thinking done when I'm outdoors so I try to go camping/backpacking as often as I can.
As cliche as it may sound, my love for life grows when I am trying new things and meeting new people. Being as so, I actively seek different ways to get involved with my community be it through sports teams, clubs, or philanthropic work.
On a calmer ending note, I have a killer sweet tooth and an appreciation for film so when I'm home, chances are I'm probably watching a movie with some chocolate in hand.
