ABOUT ME

I absolutely love food. Part of the reason I want to travel is so I can try different foods from different cultures. I also love traveling because I find it fascinating to watch how different places interact on a day to day basis. For me, traveling isn't just about going to monuments and taking 5000 pictures of it (though it is that too). It's actually learning about the way of life in different places.

I like sunny days with a light breeze. I want to learn how to play "Wonderwall" on the guitar. I want to become amazing at baking and cooking. I am not a neat freak, but I am trying to discipline myself to keep things organized. I love flowers.

My favourite thing in the world (besides food) is snow. My favourite thing to do is to make clear footprints in freshly fallen snow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never heard of couch surfing until I came to Europe. Currently what I can do to participate in the CS Project is offer my couch to anyone who wants to visit Austin :-).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time couch surfing was through a recommendation through a friend I met through foreign exchange. It was in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was a little bit awkward and weird (mostly because I can be pretty shy around strangers), but it was also really fun. They were really nice and even tried to teach me how to play "Wonderwall" on the guitar!

Interests

I really enjoy traveling. My wish is to be able to stay at least a month or two in as many cities and towns as possible!

I love playing in the snow and leaving footprints. I like tennis, but I am terrible at it. I enjoy cooking and baking. I like planting flowers, but flowers don't like me :-(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Barcelona and Vienna on my own. I don't like being alone. It was very scary for me to go somewhere knowing that there wasn't going to be anyone to meet me and take care of me. I'm very proud of myself for being able to get out there and still experience these cities instead of just holing myself up in my room.
