ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Angela, and I'm 29 years old! I've studied education, psychodrama, photography and theatre, and right now I'm in the second semester of the Psychology Educational at PUC/São Paulo. I like to read a lot, and I've read some brazilian novelists, however I prefer reading authors of my field of study (and things about philosophy, social sciences, phycology, etc). Moreover, I love listening good music (rock and brazilian songs are my favorites) and hanging out with friends.
I've worked with all kinds and ages of people. Nowadays I'm working with teenagers, in a government social project, beside giving english classes.
I´ve been in USA in 2008, and worked as an au pair (and also cleaned up some houses, and did some extra works - as a photographer).
I love to live in São Paulo, which is a huge city and has plenty of things to do, to have fun, and nice people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we just know ourselves when we're in contact with other people. I mean, we just know our own fellings, our beliefs, ous fears, our good and bad things, when we are in touch with all kinds of people.
One person is dependent of others, and all of us have responsability about every human being in the world - beside the world. We're together here and we've to work together, being open to help people and being honest and nice with everybody we meet everyday.

I'm in this website since 2008, but unfortunately, never give me the chance to participate of it.
Now I'll host a couple from Slovenia and I can't wait to meet them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to some meetings here in São Paulo, but never had the chance to host someone - because I was living with a lot of people.
Now, living by my own, it's easy to host people from all over the world.

Musica, film e libri

I love rock n' roll (the classic!) and bossa nova. Love brazilian music. Also watch all kinds of movies (mainly that one that make me wonder about life's questions...).I usually read education and psychodrama books, and right now i'm getting interested by social ciencies books.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Hmm one amazing thing I done was live in another country, leaving all my friends and family here in Brazil. I lived there for more than one year, and it was great - I met great people, learned english, met a lot of places, had a lot of fun, worked a lot. Also, of course, had some bad momments, missing my country (that I love so much) and special people. But it was worth. Today I see that this experience changed my life and the way I see the things, the way I understand the things. It helped me to know myself better.
