ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the great state of Iowa... I'm a recent grad school grad (MA Latin American studies), cat momma, travel junkie, wannabe chef, music lover, chatty cathy, old soul, adventure seeker, and day dreamer. There's nothing I love more than new experiences, new places, and meeting new people. If I could have one wish, it would be to live inside of a music festival- forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first (official) Couch Surfing experience had me hooked. I had the most lovely host, who felt like an old friend after only a few hours, in Birmingham. He showed me a side of his wonderful city that I otherwise would have never had the chance to see on my own. In the future, I would love to meet more Couch Surfers and even host when I have the ability to do so.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: My taste in movies is really quite embarrassing... Growing up, my mom was never much for television so I've probably seen 1/16th of the movies the average American has seen. If I sit down to watch something it usually has to be funny, light-hearted, or cheesy. My favorite movie is Fever Pitch- it makes me happy and I adore Jimmy Fallon.
