Overview
About Me
I'm a German & Austrian citizen who is living in Brazil since the last 6 years.
When I started my journey in South America I planned to be back after one year. However the journey changed my perspective of life and I didn't fit into my earlier life anymore...... so I continued traveling and followed the flow.....I stayed when I liked a place and kept on moving when I felt the 'wanderlust' again.
Finally I got stuck in the beautiful beach village, Jericoacoara and started to make a living again. It's a magical place and has the perfect wind condition for a kite surfer like me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a great experience to meet locals and become friends, learn about their culture and have a connection in places where you are originally a stranger.
Interests
I like to experience different life styles. Traveling makes me feel home, meeting new people, sharing experiences, hanging out with (new) friends, socializing, cultural events...
My sport interests are diversified as I like to try everything but never get professional in something.... I like kite-surfing, biking, dancing, horse-riding, snowboarding, wake-boarding, yoga, running and everything else what keeps you fit and is fun.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reggae, Samba, Forro, MPB, Soul, Jazz, Blues, beach music .....whatever fits.
Movies with British humor or Tarentino movies .... and general Science Fiction-Philosophy , Adventure, Comedy, Romance,....probably all kind of genre if the movies are sophisticated and entertaining.
Not so much a trashy, bloodthirstily or super scary movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping to the spontaneous opportunity running my own hostel in the most beautiful beach village in the middle of a national park, surrounded by sand dunes and lagoons. .....when I started, I had no idea how to run a hostel and I wasn't even able to speak the national language, not to mention the enormously cultural differences which was probably the most targeting barrier for me.....but somehow I managed and the hostel got well known and popular which was an amazing success for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a very good teacher but I'm happy to share whatever is needed.
