ABOUT ME

Originally from Austria I am living in Peru since 10 years. Another culture, language, way of life etc. changed me a lot and opened my eyes. I have been thinking a lot why things here are the way they are, trying to understand and not to criticize, as I am the guest here.
To find my way here, make a living, etc. is a real adventure.

My experiences turned my interests to psycology, history, spirituality.
As a step on this way I am now studying the Feldenkrais-Methode - Awareness through Movement - in a professional training, and just starting to teach it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf. CS is a wonderful way to make friends! It allows to meet people who somehow share something with you whereever you are in the world.
Teach new couchsurfers that its not just about free accomodation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some time ago I met very nice couchsurfers in Austria and I found this idea great. Since then I have been surfing in Brasil and hosted several times - all have been very good experiences.
Now I am convinced that CS is the much better way to travel, to get to know a place and its people in a more profound way, very different from moving from one hostal to another and meeting just tourists and people working in tourism industry.
