ABOUT ME

I grew up in Alaska but attended college in Colorado and Washington. After graduating, I left the US in 2009 to teach English in Ulsan, South Korea.
After three years of teaching I took a year off and spent five months backpacking through South America and enjoying a summer back home in Washington.
Returned to Korea this past August and am teaching English again!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a pretty small studio apartment so no couch :( BUT I'd be more than happy to answer any questions about Korea or meet up to show travelers around Ulsan!

No couchsurfing experience yet but hoping to have some soon.

I like running/trail running and occasionally participate in races. Living in Alaska, Colorado and Washington, I really enjoy hiking and spending time in the mountains. I love trying out new cuisines and when traveling, I especially like testing out local ice creams and popsicles! I also like to play ultimate frisbee and would love to catch a pickup game while traveling.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the most memorable travel experiences I've had was climbing Mt Fuji through the night to catch the sunrise at the summit. Most beautiful place would be the 11 day trek around the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru.
