ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Angela! I was born in San Francisco and raised in East SF Bay Area. I went to university in Santa Barbara, and my dad's family is from Los Angeles. Put simply, I am a California girl!

I love to travel and get to know friendly people from different cultures and I consider myself a constant student of life. I feel that any activity becomes more enjoyable with music (dancing, cooking, cleaning, singing) and I am also happy reading books or relaxing by the beach.

I also love to go out and have fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing and am setting up this page for me and my friend Koy. We are planning a trip through Europe very soon and are curious who we might meet through this site!

Koy and I met about 9 years ago in Santa Barbara where we both went to school and we have been good friends ever since! I am 29 and Koy is 28. We are both very excited to see France, Spain and Italy in a few weeks! We are both fun, friendly, respectful young ladies. We love to laugh and hang out with friends, game nights and bbqs, dancing or happy hour, and we also enjoy volunteering with a local women's group called Young Women Social Entrepreneurs. Music, Movies, and Books

I seek wisdom & self-understanding so I read a lot of personal development and spiritual psychology type books. For example, The Road Less Traveled and I just finished reading The Heroine's Journey.

Some of my favorite movies are Goonies, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Closer, Sex and the City... I enjoy movies as a fun way to escape for a bit! Or sometimes a good movie can also be an artistic portrayal of our shadow side.

I like world music, in addition to R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop and pop music. Anything with a good beat I can dance to or just chill out and relax to.

The Lover's Grotto in Capri, Italy. It is one of the most amazing natural wonders I have ever seen in my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to share music with people from all over the world to hopefully expand both of our music collections. :) The magic of music is that it is a universal language that can be felt, even when it is not linguistically understood.

I am also a great listener and I can usually easily recognize someone's inherent wisdom. Good conversations are how friendships begin! I can play a few card games too! LOL
