About Me

ABOUT ME
Creative, ironic, meditative, puntual, loyal. That's how I'd describe myself.
I'm a person who love to share experiences and to join activities or passions with others. At the same time a thoughtful person, who loves the independence and quiet situations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have updated my profile since I am in a new country to find friends and make new discoveries...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All the experiences that I know related to Couchsurfing were super-positive, starting with my own, to get to what friends have told me. Couchsurfing seems to me a really beautiful, democratic, secure and free reality that is worth to breathe and take advantage of.
Interests
My days are dotted with input and I can not put to rest the brain:
I love to read (in Italy my mother has a bookshop, in which I have worked more than 10 years) and to do whatever concerned with books.
I simply adore going out to listen to live music (all genres) and I play the violin, my companion and island of peace in an overcrowd city.
For some years I have been interested in the theater (above all of narrative-prose);
I love cooking, accompanied by fine wine and a chat;
I'm addicted to discovering new cultures, languages, customs, and new people!

Music, Movies, and Books
When I visit a country and its people, I always try to immerge myself in its culture and way of life through reading, listening to its music and seeing its best movies. It makes me in connection of another reality before leaving properly.
So I thank who make me go on with this discovering!
I'm mad for music: love going to see live music and parties: roots and rocksteady reggae, rock in all sauses (postrock/freerock/downrock?!), new-wave, indie scene. I'm discovering latin-america rithm like Cumbia and Salsa. Love electronic and techno sitautions too!
Books are definitely my life: my house in Italy can't contain all books I've red. My best readings are all literatures - added to all Italian writers, to Russian classical ones (Pasternak, Bulgakov, Dostoevskij, Nabokov); loves American writers (Capote, Lansdale, Auster, ...), poetry, children illustration, and many more.
In general I love movies that made the history of cinema: classic ones (Italian masterpieces like Fellini, Germi, De Sica, and French too), but also contemporary scene.
I'm interested in indipendent productions and festivals (I'm collaborating with Lago Film Fest, an Indipendent International Festival in my hometown).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Get lost in my dreamful Venice
See the deepest sunset ever from ancient Greek temple in Capo Sunio, Attica
Walk in the middle of a desert street of a hot Rome night, singing
See a lunar eclipse from a coraline island in the Carribean cost
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: for sure Italian language and culture (towards cinema, literature, history, food,...).
I'd learn: dancing salsa, playing a new instrument, Spanish or improve mu English.
Share: projects in which the Surf would involve me!
