PHILOSOPHY

When I was 24, I found out I was pregnant right after i had booked my trip to work in Alaska for a summer. I never made it. I love my son and care for him at home half the week. I realized last year that I shouldn't let life's little speedbumps keep me from my dreams. Traveling is something I have wanted to do my whole life, but felt like it was never in the cards for me. Well, now I am taking my new philosophy on life and living it. Every year, my plan is to leave the states and have a new adventure. I hope that some of you reading this will become a part of my adventure and I can someday be a part of yours. Life is Good!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to the couchsurfing.com experience, but not so much the couchsurfing experience. I have stayed with people anywhere from Seattle to Bangkok. I don't want to elude to the idea that I have done a lot of world traveling however. I only have the one stamp in my passport. But I am looking forward to filling it up year by year. Next stop: Iceland in October/November.

I love all sorts of music and try to see a live show every chance I get. Denver has one of the best music venues in the country, Red Rocks Amphitheater. There, I have seen Devotchka, My Morning Jacket, Gogol Bordelo, Primus, Thievery Corporation, The Shins, and many other epic performances. I am very much in love with the Icelandic group, Sigur Ros. Their music is a big inspiration for me to visit the country.
