Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couch-surfing while traveling in New Zealand and quickly figured out it was preferable to hostels. I love meeting people who actually live in the place I am visiting. They have much more practical knowledge of the area ... not just cheesy touristy stuff.
When my friend and I were sharing a house last summer, we had a bunch of cyclists stay with us on their way across the country.

I'm really getting into the Canadian indie music scene ... who knew we had all of this genius musical talent?!
Current favourites include: Owen Pallett, Mother Mother, Rah Rah, Arcade Fire, Hey Rosetta!
Fave movies are by the Coen brothers. Also Tarentino and Wes Anderson.
Books.... Steinbeck, Mordecai Richler, Steve Martin - he writes books too!
