Hi! I'm Angela -- from the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, USA, but living in Atlanta, Georgia these days. For work, I'm a marketer that has spent my entire career growing startups.

I love to travel and explore new places, whether it's new countries, new cities, or even new restaurants down the street.

I like going for walks and hikes, taking workout classes of the yoga, barre, pilates variety, and spending time outside playing sand volleyball (or Spikeball...but I'm terrible at it). I grew up playing classical piano for years, but I'm embarrassed to say I can hardly read music. I do enjoy music though, but these days I'm probably playing chords on the piano and singing along or discovering new artists on Spotify. Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was 9 and I got my first film camera.

Love trying new food. The weirder, the better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking a month-long sabbatical in February 2020 and would love to meet you! I'm planning on spending 2 weeks on the east coast of Australia, and 2 weeks in New Zealand.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I’d say the genre I listen to the most is probably “indie pop”. I love artists who can really convey a feeling through their lyrics: Maggie Rogers, Lorde, Alison Sudol from A Fine Frenzy. Other artists: Passion Pit, Foster The People, Real Estate, M83, Wolf Gang, Betty Who, Taylor Swift, The Shins.

Books: I like historical fiction.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings and Titanic lol. I can watch those movies a million times. I enjoy pretty much any type of movie, except horror.
