About Me

Soy una patacaliente irremediable
.. Which means that i need to be always traveling, walking and enjoying this beautiful world we have.. That's happiness for me. I can't stay in the same place for a long time although I'm workaholic the most of the time =/

I'm someone curious about people and what life, conversations can bring me and teach me. I prefer in anything quality more than quantity, that's the reason why i have few but real friends. I like to listen and observe, to laugh and make laugh. Sometimes I'm serious, sometimes I'm a bit crazy. I'm open-minded and i'm tryin' to understand myself and others more and more everyday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I dream to start travelling around the world.. To learn to surf, to work in different countries, to magnify the knowledge i have of others languages, foods, cultures... It will be nice to meet other people who shares the same interests and visions that I do.

Interests

I adore my family and spending time with them. I love backpacking, camping, getting touch with nature, going to the beach and being in the sun. I'm a languages lover always trying to learn words, expression, idioms in other languages. I love cocktails, to prepare them and share them. I'm a wine lover too and fan of the stories we can share through it. I love to eat and love to cook. I like long walks, working out and reading outside but the most I love is having good, long and deep conversations about books, music, arts, politics, economy, religions, history... Everything... And of course to find good mates for it... I spend my free time: reading, doing yoga, watching movies, enjoying music, concerts, and dancing, hanging out with friends and taking naps (although I rarely have time to) laughing and smiling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm completely melomaniac. If I could I hear music all day long. I love to sing too although I do it really bad (but always with my heart). I prefer Spanish rock, reggae and drum, and bass. Books - I'm always reading about my job (Leadership - Management - Marketing - Tourism...) I'm still looking for my favorite, but some authors that I love (in any particular order are): García Marquez, Cortazar, Jorge Luis Borges, Eduardo Galeano, Mario Benedetti, William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Milan Kundera,
Fiódor Dostoyevski, Aldous Huxley, Franz Kafka, Edgar Allan Poe, Hermann Hesse, Tolstoi, Richard Bach, Katherine Neville, Isabel Allende, Jane Austen, Goethe, George Orwell, Stephen King. I love Harry Potter Saga (Books and movies) and I enjoy a lot Lord of the Rings. I've never read or seen Star Wars or Twilight. Among: Eat Pray Love, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pride & Prejudice.
Movies: Closer, 500 days of summer, V for Vendetta, RockNRolla, Lost in Translation, Réquiem for a Dream, Amélie, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Trainspotting, Midnight in Paris, Sin City, Cruel Intentions, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Mancora, Babel, Y tu mama también, Scarface, A clockwork orange, American History X, Dead Poets Society... And many others that I can't remember now...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the concerts I went and trips I made being a teenager to see my favorite rock bands through the country without money or permission of my parents... I fell in love with Capoeira. The virgin beaches I enjoyed at Cuba with my cousins making some kind of Parkour to get in. I read all those reviews about hostels in Argentina looking at the best party Hostel in Southamerica for my first and I found it. =D I climbed El Avila Mountain since I was a baby, I did it so many times in my life and I always fell in love with my city as the first time... I loved paradigling at El Jarillo, skiing at Mendoza, camping at Aragua's beaches every time <3

What I Can Share with Hosts

There are many things to share. All that my country has to give us: amazing views, beautiful beaches, snowed and peaceful mountains, desert, beautiful people to meet. A different way of living, to discover our culture... I can show you this great island where I love to live in the way I see it and the best places to enjoy our food. Why the people say than Venezuelan are the happiest people and why in the sea life is tastier. ;)
