I love and have experienced all kinds of travel, from first class air travel and five-star hotels to rail, hostels and tuk-tuks. Getting to know people, learning about their experiences, and walking in the shoes of another city or culture are my favorite parts. Some of my best conversations have been with fellow travelers met on the way. I've lived around the US and traveled around the world.

Music, everything from Bon Iver to Bhangra. Lately I'm learning to appreciate jazz, and pop in whatever language I'm learning this week.

Books: I just picked up Andy Weir's latest, _Artemis_, and can't wait to dive in. I'm also working my way through the Obama reading list(s). Audiobooks and podcasts get a lot of play while I travel.
