About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see as much of the world as I can

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly and outgoing person. originally from naples, Italy, I have been living in England for 7 years now. What I like the most about this country is the fact that it's so multicultural and it's easy to meet all sorts of people. I feel that this experience has opened my mind a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a part of my lcoal Couchsurfing community, in SHeffield, (they have a facebook group which they use to organise cool events, look it up!) I met a lot of amazing and interesting people by going to their events and some have become really close friends of mine.
As far as actual couchsurfing goes, I have mostly hosted, as I am lucky enough to share the house with other couchsurfers, so we are always happy to host interesting people from around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to Couchsurfing by my housemates and decided to join because when I travel, I prefer mixing with the locals, to have a real feel of the place. I started off by hanging out with my local couchsurfing community, in Sheffield, UK. Then I created a profile on here and we have hosted a few people. Everybody I met through couchsurfing has been very cool so far.

Interests

Archaeology has been my life for 12 years. I love listening to Indie music, checking out cool independent cinemas, travelling, meeting people and reading

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Taj Mahal. As clichè as it might sound, it really is a breathtaking building!'A teardrop on the face of eternity', as someone has defined it.
Also, excavating at the Roman site of Pompeii, near Naples. Highlight of my archaeological career.
I had amazing adventures when backpacking in India and south America, travelling on local transport and talking with the locals

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Norway, Peru, Sweden
