Moved to Yellowknife in 2012 for an adventure

This was an opportunity to build my resume and portfolio, and so far so good.
Im taking more school, volunteering, working, making friends, and experiencing the freedom of the north.

I try to take all the opportunities I see. The moment I don't I usually start kicking myself. Its taken me a while but now I don't let an opportunity get past me if I can help it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I mostly host at this point. Surfed a few times while moving around.
I love having a house full of strangers. It keeps things interesting.
I love hosting. I have made so many friends, sadly, they leave too soon.

My husbands family run a dairy farm and I had the opportunity to help birth a cow. Truly amazing experience.

I like when people come to visit to show off my town, there is no better way to rediscover your own town than to show it off to someone new.
I love to cook, Im in my zone in the kitchen.
