ABOUT ME

Im 27 years old, I am pretty busy during the week from 8-5 I work at an office job at an airline. After work I direct the choir at my church, so I usually have a tight schedule! I also work out when I can! My job facilitates traveling, so whenever I can I travel as much as I can! I am pretty easy going and like to have fun and I love getting to meet new people and learn about their culture! As a singer I love musical events, I also love to dance salsa!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I am blessed enourmosly and I appreciate life and all it has to offer! I believe in the here and now, I dont believe in doing things later, later it too late! If you can do it now, do it, the opportunity to enjoy yourself is now! Tomorrow is not promised, so enjoy your life, family and everything you can but remember to always respect yourself and others!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am participating because I think it is important to educate yourself and learn about different people. This is a perfect way to do that! To give your time and show people that there are still honest and welcoming people out in the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch-surfed one time! We didnt stay at Andre's house, because he already had someone there, but he did pick us up and show us around, let us shower at his house, went out to eat and talked. He also gave us a ride to the airport! My sister-in-law was traveling with me and we were amazed that someone could be so friendly to people they didnt even know. So I decided to become more active in surfing! We had a great experience!

Interests

Traveling, reading, dancing, live musical event, movies, festivals of any type, karaoke, singing, languages (french, spanish, portuguese), church, spending time with family, swimming, long walks in new places!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Giza pyramids, it was a life long dream, and they were AWESOME! I also lived in Paris for 6 months and learned French, it was an unforgettable experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Lets see when I travel somewhere and I didnt have time to research, I usually find a post card at the airport and with the pictures on the post card is where I know what I will be visiting! If you are going somewhere and dont speak the language, try to find someone you know from work or friend of a friend that can give you language tips!
