자기 소개는 어디서부터 시작해야 할지는 모르겠지만 해봐야겠죠?

Well, for starters, my name is Angeli. I'm a survivor of the Super Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. I've been self-studying Korean for a couple of years which is why I was able to work with Korean soldiers who were deployed here to help with the rehabilitation last year.

제 이름은 앤젤리라고 합니다. 2013년 11월 슈퍼 태풍 하이옌 생존자입니다. 몇년 동안 한국어를 독학했기 때문에 작년에 돕기 위해서 온 한국 군인들과 함께 몇월 동안 일하게 되었습니다.

I usually spend my free time watching some videos on Youtube or reading a novel. I enjoy listening to any kind of music but 90% of the songs on my phone is Korean. Yes, I do like listening to kpop but I also listen to Korean acoustic and ballad songs.

한가할때는 Youtube에서 비디오 보거나 소설 읽습니다. 저는 모든 종류의 음악을 듣기 좋아하지만 제 핸드폰에 있는 노래는 90%는 한국 노래 입니다. 네, 저는 kpop 좋아하지만 한국 어쿠스틱이나 밸랟도 좋아합니다.

I really like studying Korean language. I'm seriously considering going to Korea to study in Yonsei University (my dream school ^^) 2 years from now.

한국어 배우기 참 좋습니다. 2년 후에 연세대에서 공부할까 말까 고민중이에요.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not accepting any guests because I still live in my parents' house. Maybe when I have a place of my own, but for now, I really can't. I'm sorry. But we can meet and have coffee.

부모님과 함께 살아서 손님 받을 수 없습니다. 나중에 독립해서 다른 집에 이사가면 받을 수 있겠지만 지금은 받을 수 없습니다. 죄송합니다. 하지만 만나서 커피나 한잔 하면 가능합니다.

I joined here hoping to meet people from different countries and meet friends who could show me around or host me when I visit their country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I worked as an English interpreter and Korean language teacher in a Korean military base camp with Korean soldiers, I was able to work with celebrities like Super Junior's Henry, K.Will, Samuel Hammington, Rainbow etc for the filming of 진짜 사나이, a Korean variety program about Korean army. I even got to take a picture with Henry.

I would love to cook for you but the problem is I don't know how to cook, I can do the dishes instead. Haha!
