I am a child of globalization growing in a bicultural household (nicaraguan-russian).
I grew up in Nicaragua - Cuba - Russia, studied in Russia, My husband is swiss, so now we live in Switzerland. I have friends from all over the world and, for me, it is fascinating, how growing up and living in so different places, at the end we all human beings crave for the same things: the need to receive and give love, to believe in something, to feel charished, appreciated by other.
I love to meet people and learn from their personal experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What makes a trip unforgettable are not only the places we see along the way, but also, and especially, the people we meet along the way...

I joined Couchsurfing in 2008, because a very good friend of mine and I wanted to travel around in Switzerland, Austria and South Germany. We already have had traveled autostopping across Europe 6 years before that, during last holidays before finishing the university. By that time, we were sleeping outdoors camping. But Couchsurfing is much more than just traveling. You get to know not only places, but its people. It is like visiting friends that live in other countries / cities or receive their visit. It is something personal, compared to staying in a hotel, that is completely impersonal. Traveling and staying by couchsurfing friends is simply amazing.

My next Couchsurfing destination will be Iceland!
I hope some day also to visit Ecuador, South Korea, Japan and South Africa.

Interests

Sharing time with my family.
I like gardening, learning to prepare dishes from all over the world.
I love yoga, although I don't practice it so frequently.
I love dancing latin-american music.
I love watching good movies and series.

- Having the chance of becoming mother.

- Be amazed and enjoy every day those little things that make this life pleasant: hearing the rain fall, feeling the sun on your face, enjoying the song of the birds at dawn and at dusk, contemplating the sky, whether at dawn or during the sunset, or at night with the starry sky, hug my loved ones, laugh out loud, have deep conversations with my friends.
