About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to personally experience as many foreign marvels and people while indulging and understanding the various different cultures this beautiful world has to offer :).
ABOUT ME
When asked "what would you do if you won the lottery", my initial response has always been, "travel".
I am very enthusiastic about traveling and am always looking for something exciting to do or see. I grew up in the US but I am half Peruvian and half German/ Irish. I am a 21 year old senior in college; enrolled in a Europe study abroad program. I am excited for the experiences and people I will come across on this journey :).
PHILOSOPHY
"One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things." - Henry Miller
"Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey." - Pat Conroy
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently traveling around Europe for the next few months.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My cousin and role model, Carolina, has told me very positive things about her couchsurfing experiences. I have yet to have an experience of my own, but I look forward to writing about it when I do :).
Interests
With a major in Communication, minor in International Studies and a concentration in Public Relations, I have an interest in marketing, spreading brand awareness, and the study of the impact that mass media has on the globalization of the world. Moreover, I enjoy learning about different cultures and their history.

I was able to travel around Europe last year for a month and a half. I did an internship in London, England this summer and I am also currently enrolled in a study abroad program. It is a program that allows me to live in Italy, Spain, and France for five weeks in each country.
Teach, Learn, Share
When I return to New York, I can offer a place to stay either in or near New York City. We will see in January, when I return :).
