About Me

I'm a chef and HUGE foodie, now full-time world explorer. I really love connection with people through cooking a delicious meal for them, going dancing, or just having awesome conversation. I love nature adventures like mountain biking, trekking, and surfing.

I have loved exploring the world for as long as I can remember. I just crave the excitement of learning new languages, meeting people around the world, and finding unusual, unexpected things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently made a decision to travel the world with no return ticket home. Deep in my heart, I have always wanted to do this but found reasons not to (make money, be responsible, be in a relationship, blah blah).

On this open-ended journey, my goal is to discover all I can about how other cultures eat. I might try volunteering on a farm or working at some point, but for now I want to be student of the world and soak up all the delicious discoveries I can.

I am SO EXCITED to drink up all the love this world has to offer, including your love, Couchsurfers! I have been both a host and surfer, so I know what it takes to be a polite guest and I am ALWAYS willing to cook you a tasty meal to show my gratitude.
