About Me
Hey guys :)
I'm Angelika, born in the Canton of Berne and living in Berne since 2017 :) My aparment is situated in the old town of Berne (approx 10 min from train station by foot). If you come and visit during weekends you shouldn't be too sensitive to noise (lovely people on the streets in the evening and church bells in the morning :P). Nevertheless, or precisly because, I love my 3 piece appartment. If you are my visitor, I provide you with a futon mattress in my office that fits for 2 people (I'd also have a couch in the livingroom if there are 3 of you ). You'll be of course also able to use the living room, bathroom, the kitchen and (in summer time) the shared roof terrace.
Unfortunately, I do only have one small blanket and a sleeping bag, if there are more than 2 of you, you'll need to bring your own .. :) If you come over weekends, let me know in advance, as I would love to show you around the city or go to typical places in Berne (swim in the river, eat ice-cream , drink an ice cold bear or what ever you are up to.. )
Well, I think this is it and I hope you enjoy Berne, Switzerland and Europe whilst your visit!! :)
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon, guys! :)
Cheers, Angelika
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In 2011 I visited the US with my friend, this is where I got in touch with CouchSurfing for the first time. We liked it a lot as you meet people from all over the world, learn about their culture and just have a really good time.
Since I do not travel the whole year (yeah.. seriously, I have a job and only a few weeks of holiday, haha) - I would love to share my appartment with you guys. It almost feels like holidays to me if I have people around :)
Interests
- music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After my graduation I traveld around Thailand (South to North) for one month. I had a really interesting, instrucing and relaxing time and enjoyed their nature, culture as well as their fabulous food! I appreciated to have such a long time period only to myself, without any obligation.
Now, I am back home again and already looking for my next adventure :)a
Teach, Learn, Share
Unfortunatley, I do not have any big talents I could teach you, but I can always share my positive attitude and character and try to make you laugh and have a nice time! :) :)
And yeah, of course, if you are not speaking a word Swiss German, German or French, I could teach you some words :P.
And yeah, I could instruct you how to swim in the Bernese river called Aare (its current is very strong), but you should already be a good swimmer, otherwise it's too risky.. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I am your guest I can share my Swiss Chocolate, haha! I always have some if I travel as I know most people really like it a lot.. (so do I :) ).
