Hi, my name is Angelika. Or the international version: Angie.
I live in a smaller city Gyömrő which is part of Budapest's agglomeration.
I love to spend time in Budapest and it would be great to explore the city with others who are open-minded, curious as me too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been driven here by my desire to open to the world, to explore the world by traveling, by hosting and first of all by meeting with people from all around the world in Budapest.

Interests

I am deeply involved in self-awareness. It's part of my vocation - I am a psychotherapist - but on the other hand it's my passion too. I have been attending self-awareness groups (called encounter groups) for 13 years.
Otherwise I love to meet people, to get to know them, their way of being, how is their life is at the other part of the world.
I love to attend concerts, visit theatres, and galleries.
I am also interested in different par of science, astronomy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Related to my profession I read many psychological books in various topics related to my current interests.
In other hand my favourite book is The Little Prince, but I really love science fiction books.

Music for me is a place where I could be released. I often visit concerts in Budapest in music clubs. I am open for other countries's musicians, bands, music experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm...good question. If I have to choose just one then I choose encounter. The place and the circumstances are almost unimportant. My most amazing moments in my life were those where I could deeply encounter with myself or with another person, or both. Maybe it sounds mysterious or abstract. I am the person who can feel satisfaction everywhere where those kind of encounters could be born.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a really curious person. I really love listening to people, their stories, their views, their knowledge, their experiences. My experience is that by listening to others my inside world becomes wider and perhaps wiser (hopefully :) ).
