my name is Angelina and I just finished my master's degree in summer and I want to take a long summer break before real work-life has to start (I will start working as a teacher in november). I love to travel and to meet new people all over the world! But concidering all the environmental problems in the world, I decided that I won't take any planes to get to next destinations. So now I'm looking for nice places "nearby" in France, Spain and Portugal that I can reach by bus, train or car sharing!

I do speak quite fluently french as I studied a semester in Pau and I love to practice my language skills more!

So I'm curious to get to know you wonderful people out there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel around France, Spain and Portugal and I'm looking forward to meet new people. I always liked to stay in hostels and I had really good experiences in South Asia meeting new people there. But I figure that it won't be the same in europe and I prefer now to get to know locals and to see how life looks like in different countries. In this way I hope that I will get closer to their culture, habits and also to get some secret tips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm always so happy if I meet locals and if they share some of their culture and daily life with me. In Indonesia I met the nicest women in the airplane and she invited me and my friend to visit her boarding school. Everyone welcomed us in her small village and the school arranged a special day just for us. I got to teach the students some breakdance moves and we had lunch with all the teachers of the school. It was just the best day of my vacation there!
