One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A great experience was climbing a mountain to be the first in Australia to see the sunrise from the top of Mt Warning. Feeling completely alone for the walk up and experiencing the dead silent night on the highest peak in any direction was surreal. The sky was clear and full of stars, below was a sea of clouds stretching off to the infinite, only breaking for the smaller surrounding peaks that looked like islands. The return walk through the rainforest, culminates in breathtaking 360 degree views around the ancient caldera with coastal views stretching from The Gold Coast to Byron Bay.
