I'm a slightly eccentric, musical, liberal, fun married woman. In my spare time I enjoy reading, movies, theater, karaoke, and playing with my pets (currently have 2 cats).

I also enjoy jumping out of planes when I can afford it.

I hope to get more involved. I love meeting new people, and I think this will be a fun way to do it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've only hosted couch surfers. I enjoyed opening my apartment up to travelers and hearing about their journeys. I look forward to meeting other new people!

Wow! This is tough. I have way too many favorites in this category to list here. My music tastes range from hip hop to rock to polka to opera to musical theater. I also love reading and don't have a set genre that I stick to.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I am really proud that I finished 3 sprint length triathlons. I wasn't fast, but I completed them. I've never been an athlete, so this was a big deal for me.

I am enjoying my skydive training. I'm not sure if skydiving is considered an amazing thing, but I'm amazed that I got the nerve to do it! Here's a video of my AFF level 4 jump: http://youtu.be/ITH-VDa4IhA

I'm still very new and looking forward to learning about this culture.

On another note...I've had jobs where I've seen the absolute worst in people. After awhile it begins to distort your view of the world and humanity. This community helps remind me that people are good and doing good things because it's the right thing to do, not because of what you get in return.
