Hi!
My name is Angelique. Travelling is one of my biggest passions. I love meeting new people, trying new food, exploring exciting and unknown cultures. It's what makes life exciting.
I have a big passion for music as well, I play the piano and get totally lost in it. My favourite composers at the moment are Nils Frahm and Philip Glass!
My passion really lies in the arts. I work as a full time model, I love creating exciting and creative images but I also paint, do photography and am studying graphic design.
I am a great believer in your body being your temple. I love being sporty too, going to the gym, previously did rock climbing. I'm also an avid yoga lover and doing my yoga teacher training in India later on this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to go travelling and meet different people of lots of different cultures around the world. I feel like meeting people and exploring the world is so important for personal growth and understanding our planet more.

Interests

I enjoy reading, you'll always catch me engrossed in a good book at some point. Namely science fiction or fantasy.
I love music, especially anything electronic, anything you can dance and rave to. It's the high pitched beautiful synths that send this euphoric and beautiful wave over my body and in uncontrollable grinning. I also love beautiful forlorn, whimsical voices.
Occasionally I like headbanging to some heavy metal too
I love to play the piano I have always loved the sound of the piano so wanted to recreate it myself. I love playing classical pieces. At the moment I am learning 'Arrival of the birds' an absolutely stunning piece which reminds you of your childhood and that pure excitement you felt
dancing- dancing is my life. Whenever good music plays I start dancing because it is absolutely key to releasing positive energy and tapping and stomping to those beats :D
painting- this is something i have been doing since I was tiny, I enjoy expressing myself visually through the means of paint. I especially love the use of vibrant colours, textures, beautiful and ugly. I will paint anything and everything but have a special love for painting abstract animals. (the crazier the colours the better) People would describe my art as 'life through lcd')
