Overview
About Me
I spent a whole year in Armenia where I was volunteering in an environmental NGO. Now I caught the travel virus and I'm looking forward to new travel opportunities!
When I'm not travelling I'm working in Padirac Cave (Lot department) as a guide, giving all my knowledge about this amazing place while paddling on the underground river.
As a biologist I spend a lot of time outside and when going out with me you can easily lose me... somewhere (isn't it a butterfly just here? Wait, look that bird!). Because of that, most of my friends call me "Lady Nature". Amongst all my nicknames, I definitely like that one :-)
In a few words, I'm a sociable, optimistic and smiling person. But also kind of crazy... (it had to be said!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Curiosity!
Couchsurfing is the best way to meet people from all over the world, to get to know them, share and exchange about our cultural differences.
For now I can't host but I believe that one day, I'll be able to do it for people met during my travels.
Interests
I can say I'm interested in everything that can feed my curiosity but... it makes a lot, right?
However I can say that my favorite hobby is... to EAT! Definitely. Food/friends/family is my happiness receipe!
Beside I love dancing - I practice latin dances since 2012 - reading about science news and exploring new places.

Music, Movies, and Books
My tastes about music evolve with my mood, from instrumental to electro/lounge music but also pop, rock and basically almost every kind of music. But to quote some favorites; Kodaline, Kina Grannis and Emmanuel Moire.
For movies it's quite the same but with a special taste for horror movies. Well... my friends mostly don't like them so when I forced my bestfriend to see The Possession for my birthday - poor her, she couldn't refuse, and yes it's sentimental manipulation! - I had to watch the Little Mermaid with her. Being a fan of horror is not always easy, I guess... ^^
Finally I read more books than I can remember but amongst my favorites, The Empire of Ants by Bernard Werber seduced me with all its references to science facts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A midnight bath in the sea, swimming in bioluminescent plancton - or how to feel like a shooting star in a liquid sky :-D
