ABOUT ME

I am 28 years old. I've been moving in and out of Colombia for the past 4 years, I lived in Chicago, New Orleans and New York, and and developing allergic reaction brought me back to Colombia for medical treatment, but once my health is under control I plan to keep traveling. ;-)
I am fluent in English and I know some French, I understand more that I speak (I get embarrassed =S)
In my time abroad I met people from many many nationalities, so I love different cultures, learning and sharing with them, and I love to show the best of Colombia!

I am very positive person, I like to see the best side of everything, and I like to surround myself with happy, passionate and smart people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in New Orleans the few first weeks of my stay there, while I found my own place to live for the semester. I stayed in the couch of 5 guys from Nepal, then move to the couch of 2 girls from China and South Korea, and then to the couch of a Brazilian guy.

Interests

I am very creative person, I love art, photography and any kind of arts and crafts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, from fiction (Harry Potter), to spiritual (Paulo Cohelo), to technology, culture, news....
Same with music, I am Latina, so of course Latin music is a must in my life, but I also love old school rock (AC DC, Aerosmith..)
Movies: all but terror (I have nightmares after terror movies, no good!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had to live in Chicago during the blizzard of 2011 and the Hurricane Sandy in New York in 2012, I believe natural phenomenons follow me!ç
I've survived Malaria and Dengue and current live with food allergies, that keep me away from chocolates =S

Salsa!!! I am from Cali, the world's capital of Salsa dance. I have no experience teaching, but we can figure something if you want to learn.
