About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world and its people

ABOUT ME

I am keen to know more about life, how people live in other countries in other circumstances.

PHILOSOPHY

Everthing is connected with each other - you have to love and do good to all things around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Keep in touch with my hosts and surf. We are planning to host again in the future, but right now our couch is taken by friends and family most of the time, because we just moved to Berlin and everyone wants to see where we moved into and is excited to have acccess to a couch in the very city center of Berlin. But after some time... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

October 2010 we have been four weeks in the U.S. We had four hosts - one more lovely than the other. It was a wonderful experience!

Interests

Music!
I love to go to concerts, choirs, pop, classic, swing, soul, blues...
I was a member in a small jazz combo (classic jazz, blues, pop) and also of an a-cappella ensemble in our former home town.
I am currently member of a pop choir in Berlin.
Also I'm interested in sports which I love to do outdoors. As my job indicates I'm also very interested in organic farming and conservation issues.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Blood sweat and tears, Maybebop, Naturally 7, Sting, Van Halen, Level42
Books: Harry Potter, Momo, Books from Richard Rohr and Willigis Jäger
Movies: Finding Nemo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe: Amazing! And also the Khama Rhino Sanctuary in Botswana - Rhinos grazing in the evening sun and I am standing just metres apart from them. Just wonderful! Living in Africa provided many great experiences for me.

Also a beautiful place I visited and recommend were Les calanques in France in the morning, where I did see kayaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar and german.
I would love to learn how to fix things which get broken in the household and how to fix a car.

Also Danela and I like to cook for or with our hosts/guests when there is enough time on both sides.
