ABOUT ME

Hi! We're a married couple living about 45 mins out of Auckland CBD. We live on an airfield, which is rather unique. While we have a lot of space for couch surfers, we do live quite a way out and public transportation is very sparse. Please read our profile carefully and request if you really are interested in the rural area!

We had a baby girl in Oct 2009!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Angelle is from Canada and has couch surfed in Fiji and Australia and Simon is new to this game. Angelle used to host while flatting in Auckland, and now we both enjoy periodic meetups with other Auckland couchsurfers and hosting at our house out of town.

Favorite authors include Farley Mowat, Irvine Welsh, Keith Maillard, CS Lewis, and Willa Cather. Ska and Punk bands and going to live shows are the best part of music. Favorite movies include all sorts of period dramas and french language films, Chronicles of Narnia, The Golden Compass, Walk the Line, Trainspotting, American History X, Romper Stomper, The Big Lebowski, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Let's see...Simon is a pilot of small aircraft and sees the amazing NZ scenery from the air almost daily; he has traveled extensively in New Zealand, Canada and America, and Europe. Angelle drove across Canada at the age of 18 with her younger (16 yo) brother in tow, helped to deliever a baby girl as a nursing student, and now gives people the knowledge and cofidence to provide CPR and basic first aid.
