I am a young man seaching for his place in the world. After i made my exam (german Abitur) i decided to take a gap year and make a big journey. Four months i have been traveling together with a friend and we used couchsurfing with his account. We made so great experiences that i decided to join also this communiy. Now i'm studying urban studies at the Bauhaus university in the beautiful city of Weimar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2017 I made a trip through Asia with a friend and we met many great people through his Couchsurfing profile. I like the concept of Couchsurfing and now I also want to be part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste for music is varied; From classical music to psytrance. Chart pop songs are not for me.
I like to read books and novels about philosophical-social issues.
With movies is it similar to the music. Many of the Hollywood action films are in my opinion just sensational. I like to watch movies that reflect a certain time, but the tolerance range is very high.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A four-month journey across Asia together with a friend. We tried to fly as little as possible, so we just took trains and busses through the most diverse countries. Across the Balkan we went through Turkey to Iran. From there to Dubai and into Oman and then we flew to India and visited many places there. After that we went to Bangkok and crossed Malaysia until we reached Singapore, our final destination.
