Hi there!
I'm just a coffee and wine enthusiast who gets very excited about discovering different cultures, foods and meeting new people.
In a few words, I'd describe myself as an open-minded, empathetic and social person. I really appreciate simple things such as a good conversation, reading a book, being out in the nature or just taking the time to enjoy a sunrise/sunset.
For me, this life is a learning journey and I'm always looking for ways to improve myself in order to become a better being. I strongly believe that changing the world it's easy, and it all begins with our little actions!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, learn about their culture and share experiences with them. Couchsurfing has opened many doors to me and it has given me the opportunity to make many friends around the world. And that's why I travel :)
Interests
I really appreciate a good conversation, sharing experiences with people and taking up new adventures.
Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I’ll listen to anything depending on my mood. And it's difficult to choose one movie, but it might be: "The Godfather". As for the books, some of my favorites are: “One hundred years of solitude”; “Thus spoke Zarathustra”; “Shantaram”; “Into the wild”; "A fortune teller told me".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The three greatest things I’ve ever done:
• Volunteering in India with children;
• Trekking for 4 days, alone, in the Annapurna Range, in Nepal;
• Bungee jumping in New Zealand;
Teach, Learn, Share
Traveling has given me the opportunity to learn about life and also about myself. All the places that I visited have taught me something significant, although the most important lessons I’ve learnt from the amazing people who I’ve met along the way.
Wherever I go I’m always trying to learn something new and to give something positive in exchange. For me, opening the heart, listening and sharing experiences with others are the best ways to create connections and live a more meaningful life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
