I am a student in Leuven, Belgium doing a master’s degree in European Studies. My passion is learning foreign languages and my goal is to travel the world to learn about foreign cultures and become a more well-rounded and knowledgeable person. I play guitar, I like video games, and dogs are my favorite pets!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to be able to visit a place while cutting costs on staying in a hotel or AirBnB while getting to know a local of the area and gaining a memorable experience! Especially in places where I have no connection to the country, I would love to get to know locals and make friends from different areas of the world. I'd even be happy to go see the sights together!

Interests

I am interested in learning 10+ languages to a high level in my lifetime, and I aspire to publish academic papers and speak at conferences on topics of language learning.

I love House music, but also pop music from the languages that I am currently learning. Some examples are the Greek Constantinos Koufos as well as the German Max Giesinger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've run through the streets of my town with seven other men carrying a huge statue of a saint, in a festival that we call La Festa dei Ceri! Definitely ask me more about this if you want to hear about an interesting tradition.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you out in any of the languages I know, to different degrees! I love teaching English and practicing my other languages, especially Italian. I'd also love to hear about my host's travel and language experience, and to go around the area where I am staying to see the sights if the host is interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a guitar, I love to sing and perform so we could have a good night of music! I have lots of resources and methods for language learning if the host would like to ask me anything about them as well. I would be happy to pay for a meal or two if you were so kind to host me and go around the area with me!
